Membership

To join us, you must have an associate (or equivalent) or higher degree from an accredited institution of higher learning. Student affiliates must be currently enrolled in college with that objective. By becoming a Boise Area Branch member, you are automatically a member of AAUW National  and AAUW Idaho.

There are three convenient options for joining the AAUW Boise Branch which also includes AAUW state and AAUW national membership:

  1. Join through the Branch’s Online link. You will be able to fill out an application and pay online, or:
  2. Join by downloading and printing the Branch’s Membership Application.  Fill it out and send it along with your check for $69.50 to P.O. Box 16548, Boise, ID 83715, or:
  3. Join through the National AAUW’s website at this link.  An onlline turtorial is avialable if you need additonal help with registration and enrollment.

Dues Structure – FY24-25

PLEASE NOTE: Your first-year dues are $69.50, with $62.00 tax deductible.
Dues beginning your second year will be $113, with $98 tax deductible. All prices are effective as of April 1, 2024.

 $69.50 includes all dues: national ($36), state ($7.50) and branch ($26)
($62.00 is tax deductible.)
  • Regular Renewal
 $113 includes all dues: national ($72), state ($15) and branch ($26)
($98 is tax deductible.)
  • Paid Life Member and Honorary Life Member
 Paid life members are exempt from national dues, but pay state ($15) and branch dues ($26). Honorary life members are exempt from national, state and branch dues. (National paid life member fee is $1,440.)

Renewal Instructions

We will notify members by email when it is time to renew, approximately one month in advance. There are three easy options for renewing your membership:

  1. Send a check payable to AAUW Boise Branch to P.O. Box 16548, Boise, ID 83715. Write “membership renewal” on the memo line.’  Or,
  2. Renew online through your membership account at AAUW National at https://my.aauw.org/. If you need help with National’s website, please send an email to connect@aauw.org. Or,
  3. NEW OPTION: Renew online by clicking on the “Pay Now” button below. You can use either your PayPal account or pay directly with your credit or debit card.
