New branch officers begin their term and the new calendar year begins on July 1, 2018; regular branch meetings will resume in the fall. The 2018-19 general meeting calendar dates are listed below.  Speakers and further details, including registration links, will be added as information becomes available.

Ring in the Holidays with AAUW

Don your holiday apparel and join us for a festive holiday lunch on Saturday, December 8th from 11:00 to 1:00 in the Juniper Room at the Riverside Hotel. From 11:00 to noon, enjoy your friends and meet new friends while you listen to jazz guitarist Ben Burdick and imbibe some holiday cheer at the no-host bar. Lunch will be served at noon, and the seating for this convivial event is OPEN!
In addition to the camaraderie, you can shop! Artisans for Hope will open a holiday shop exclusively for AAUW members. Get a head start on your holiday shopping and support Boise’s refugee artisans. 75% of the purchase price of each product is returned to its maker. Artisans for Hope not only gives these artisans some pocket money but, more importantly, a place where they feel valued and safe. Buying a handmade product from Artisans for Hope does so much more than check off a box on your Christmas list!

Please join us for a special evening as the Boise State University women’s basketball team takes on the nationally-ranked Louisville Cardinals. Boise State coach Gordy Presnell said the game will be “one of the biggest home games in my (14 year) tenure here.” Admission is FREE for all AAUW members and their families.
