Health and Exercise
One of my gym teachers always says, “As we grow up,” instead of “As we grow older,” when she recommends a certain exercise. Well, since most of us are indeed growing up, Dr. Matthew Nelson will fill us in on the health benefits of different types of exercise, the importance of reasonable goals, and balancing physical activity with nutrition. Dr. Nelson practices cardiology at St. Alphonsus Hospital, having received his M.D. from the University of Iowa and his fellowship in cardiology from the Mayo Clinic, Phoenix. Join us to be inspired to follow the doctor’s orders!
The branch’s annual business meeting will precede the speaker.
