Spring Fling Fundraiser
AAUW’s mission is to fight for equity for women and girls breaking through educatonal and economic barriers so that women and girls have a fair chance in life.
Every year AAUW Bosie Branch hosts their Spring Fling Fundraiser to raise funds for scholarships for young women in college down to pre-kindergarten girls . Our projects include:
- Innez Robb Scholarship awarded to a Boise State University female student – one full semestre of tuition
- Servfice Recognitioin Scholarhsip awarded to two femaile hight shcoool students who demonstate a passion for service to her shcool and/or community – $3,000 each
- Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) camp funding through Silver Sage Girl Scvouts for underserved girls.
- Women in Leadership Focused Conference Sponserhip of female students with drive and asspirations tobecome our community’s future leaders.
- Early Childhood Education funding thought the idaho Associaton for the Education of Your Children and Giraffe Laugh for undersderved girls.
The gala includes a wine wall, silent auction items or services and events, and raffle baskets. There might even be live auction items. The night includes a no-host bar, buffet of heavy hors d’oeuvres, and live music.
If you would like to donate an item or service, an event at your home or other venue in the Bosie Area or a donation such as use of a vacation home or something else unique, fill out a donation form. There are two ways you can do this:
